Roles that never reach a job board
Companies post to their own applicant tracking system first - Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Ashby - and syndicate to job boards afterwards, if at all. The gap between those two events is frequently days, and for some roles the syndication never happens: the posting exists, it is public, and it is simply not where most people are looking.
This searches those systems directly. The roles are not secret and there is nothing clever about the access; they are public pages that aggregators have not picked up yet. The advantage is timing, and timing is most of what determines whether an application gets read.
What this is not
It is not access to unadvertised roles, the ones filled through networks before anyone writes a job description. Nothing can search those, and a product claiming otherwise is describing your professional network. For that, the networking tools are the honest answer.
It is also not a guarantee of fewer applicants. A role on a company's careers page a week before it reaches a job board has fewer applicants that week. After that it is as competitive as anything else.
