Your resume is stored as structured content - roles, dates, bullets, skills - not as a formatted document. The template is a view over that content, which is why switching templates takes a click and never means retyping anything. It is also why you can keep a one-column version for application portals and a two-column version for a human reader, from the same source.

All 83 templates are free on every plan, including the free one, and exports to PDF and DOCX are unlimited. Templates are not what this product charges for. They are grouped into nine categories by the situation they were built for: professional, modern, international, minimal, creative, executive, technical, government and academic.

The AI works on bullets, not on the whole document. Given a bullet and, optionally, the job description you are applying against, it suggests a rewrite that leads with the outcome and keeps the specifics you supplied. It will not invent an employer, a date, a metric or a technology you did not write - the input is your content, and a rewrite that fabricates is a rewrite that fails at an interview.

There is also a keyword comparison against a posting, which reports which terms from the job description do not appear in your resume. It reports what is missing; it does not score you, and it does not claim that adding a word will get you through anyone's screening.

Templates use clean layouts, standard fonts, and clear section headings so applicant tracking software can read your information accurately - while still looking polished to hiring managers. No tool can guarantee passing a specific employer's screening; the goal is making sure nothing in your resume gets lost.

Where a template uses two columns, that is stated on its page, along with a single-column alternative in the same category, because some older parsers flatten columns when they read them. That is the whole of the claim being made. There is no resume score here and there never will be - a number invented by one tool tells you nothing about the software an employer actually runs.
