Terms of Service

Job Search Guide is operated by Net Image, s.r.o., a company registered in the Czech Republic ("Net Image", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") set out the rules for using the Job Search Guide website and application (together, the "Service"). By opening an account or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Service.

1. Who may use the Service

You may use the Service only if you can form a binding contract with Net Image and are at least 16 years old. By using the Service you confirm that the information you give us during registration is true and that you will keep it up to date. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for it.

2. What Job Search Guide does

The Service is an online toolkit designed to help you run a job search more effectively. Depending on your plan, it lets you:

track and organise the roles you apply to;
build resumes and cover letters using our library of templates;
use AI-assisted tools to draft, tailor, and review application materials and prepare for interviews;
keep a personal contact list for professional networking;
view analytics and insights about your search; and
screen listings for signs of recruitment scams.

We may add, change, or remove features over time as the Service evolves.

3. Your account

You are responsible for everything that happens under your account and for keeping your login details confidential. Choose a strong password and let us know promptly if you think someone has accessed your account without permission. You can close your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or close an account that we reasonably believe has breached these Terms or that poses a risk to other users or to the Service.

4. Plans, payment, and renewals

The Service offers a free plan called Apply and paid plans called Get Interviews and Get Hired. The features included in each plan and their prices are shown on our pricing page and may change from time to time.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual cycle through Dodo Payments, our payment provider and merchant of record, which also appears on your statement. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges to your chosen payment method until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; after cancelling you keep paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for, and your account then returns to the free plan. We do not refund the unused part of a billing period except as described in our Refund Policy.

5. Your content

Anything you create or upload through the Service - including resumes, cover letters, application records, notes, and contacts - remains yours. We claim no ownership of it. To operate the Service for you, you grant Net Image a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, display, and back up that content, and to share it with the processors described in our Privacy Policy. You confirm that you have the right to provide the content you submit and that it does not break the law or infringe anyone else's rights.

6. AI-assisted features

Some features rely on artificial intelligence to generate or suggest text, such as tailored resume bullet points, cover-letter drafts, interview answers, and scam assessments. These outputs are suggestions only. They can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation, so you must review and edit anything you intend to rely on. We do not guarantee any particular result, and using the Service does not guarantee that you will receive interviews or job offers.

7. Acceptable use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

break any applicable law or regulation;
try to gain unauthorised access to our systems, other accounts, or related infrastructure;
scrape, crawl, or harvest the Service with automated tools, or place an unreasonable load on it;
reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our source code, except where the law expressly allows it;
copy, resell, or redistribute our templates or other parts of the Service, or use them to build a competing product;
impersonate another person or organisation, or send spam or deceptive messages through the Service.

8. Intellectual property

The Service itself - including its software, design, templates, text, and the Job Search Guide name and branding - belongs to Net Image or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. These Terms give you a personal, revocable right to use the Service; they do not transfer any ownership to you.

9. Service availability and disclaimers

We work to keep the Service reliable, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of security risks, and we do not guarantee that it will meet your specific needs. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Net Image will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or for lost profits, opportunities, or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including your mandatory rights as a consumer under Czech and EU law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to cover Net Image for any reasonable claims, losses, or costs that result from your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms, to the extent those losses are caused by you.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service or the law changes. If a change is material, we will give you reasonable notice by email or through the Service before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after the change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, and the courts of the Czech Republic have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you also keep the protection of any mandatory consumer-law rules of the country where you live.
