Executive resume templates

Executive templates are built around a different unit of information. At director level and above, the reader is not scanning for responsibilities - they are looking for scope: team size, budget owned, revenue influenced, markets entered, what changed while you were there. These templates give the summary real estate at the top, weight achievements over duties in the experience section, and leave room for board seats, advisory work and speaking. They also assume the document may run to two pages, and are set so a second page does not look like an accident. Use them for VP, C-level, general manager and senior functional leadership applications, and for board or advisory submissions. If you are applying to a first management role, the professional group will fit your material better - these templates look thin when there is not much scope to describe.
