International resume templates

Resume conventions are not universal, and applying with the wrong ones is a quiet disadvantage. These templates follow the expectations of specific markets: length, whether a photo is normal or unwelcome, whether personal details such as date of birth or nationality are expected, how education is weighted against experience, and what the document is even called. A German Lebenslauf, a UK CV, a Japanese rirekisho and a US resume are genuinely different documents, and a hiring manager in each market notices when you have sent one of the others. Use this group when you are applying outside the United States, or across several countries at once - in which case keep a separate version per market rather than one compromise document. Where a market's convention includes a photo, that is stated on the template rather than assumed.
